Google just isn’t doing it for me anymore. Am I the only one out there who’s noticed? I don’t think so!
Like everyone else in the world, I’ve traded in the web search engine(s) I used to use for Google – to the extent that it’s now pretty much the only search engine we use (to the extent that it seems as if the “old” engines, like Altavista, are no longer there – but they are). When Santayana coined the phrase, “he who does not know the past is condemned to repeat it,” he had no idea it would apply to the internet.
